Durch dieses Verfahren wird die Menge an Feststoffen und organischen Stoffen im Wasser reduziert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sekund\u00e4re Behandlung (biologische Behandlung):<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Das Wasser gelangt in das Belebungsbecken, und die Mikroorganismen zersetzen die im Wasser verbliebenen organischen Stoffe. Durch diesen biologischen Prozess werden die Schadstoffe in harmlose Nebenprodukte wie Kohlendioxid, Wasser und weitere Mikroorganismen umgewandelt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Terti\u00e4re Behandlung: <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Diese Stufe ist optional, wird aber h\u00e4ufig zur weiteren Reinigung des Wassers eingesetzt. Technologien wie Filtration (z. B. Sand, Aktivkohle) und chemische Behandlungen (z. B.
